If you visited our recent exhibition, you were very likely asked to vote for your favourite picture. The competition was fierce, we had around 200 votes and we have a winner!
The best picture winner was Heron by the very talented Paul Hanson, this was one of 5 pictures entered into the exhibition by Paul, which you can see below. ‘Heron’ received 11 individual votes, which made it the overall winner.

As an addition to the best picture prize, we also have a prize for the best artist, this is awarded to the artist who has the highest number of votes across all of their pictures. So, as well as winning best picture, Paul also won best artist as well, as he received a total of 29 votes across of all of his pictures, the rest of which can be seen below. We think you’ll all agree that Paul is a very worthy winner, congratulations Paul!

Each prize is a £10 Amazon voucher, as Paul won both categories, he was presented with a £20 voucher by our lovely Treasurer, Stephen Sparke. Unfortunately the moment wasn’t captured on camera, so we can’t share a picture, but I am reliably informed that Paul was delighted. Congratulations once again to our very worthy winner Paul!
